About Amanda K. Perez:

Amanda Perez joined Reid & Hellyer, APC in 2023. Amanda’s main practice is litigation.

Prior to joining Reid & Hellyer, Amanda was an associate attorney for a non-profit organization that practices constitutional law. Her main focus was constitutional civil litigation that affected people’s rights to freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of impartial justice, and free and fair elections. 

As a former courtroom assistant to the Honorable Judge Daphne G. Sykes of the Orange County Superior Court Family Law Division, Amanda worked inside of a family law courtroom for two years, where she has extensive knowledge of the inner workings of the Orange County Superior Court Family Law Division.

Amanda also has experience practicing criminal law and family law, and writing Amicus Briefs with the Supreme Court of the United States.

Amanda received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law, where she graduated with distinction in 2018. She received her Undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice, with a Minor in Spanish, from the California State University, Sacramento, in 2012. Amanda was a competitive gymnast for 17 years and was a national competitor all the way to college, where she was a part of the Sacramento State Women’s Gymnastics team for three years.

In her free time, Amanda enjoys watching College gymnastics competitions, walking her dog, Alfalfa, reading nonfiction books, and staying apprised of constitutional law issues.
